We support farmers and growers to build systems that work with – not against – nature.

Focusing on soil health, systems thinking and ecological design, we help create low-input, resilient approaches that are productive, regenerative and grounded in place.

Earth Farmers is a reflection of what we’ve learnt from more than a decade of working with the soil – and a lifetime of farming and growing.

We work with farmers, growers, and land managers to create systems that are regenerative, ecologically sound and economically resilient — always placing soil health at the centre.

With over ten years of regenerative practice and a lifetime in farming, our work is grounded, lived, and continually evolving.

Alongside our own journey, we’ve drawn from the teachings of Allan Savory, Dr Christine Jones, Darren Doherty, Elaine Ingham, John Kempf, Ian Mitchell-Innes, and Nicole Masters — whose UK Create cohort we were proud to be part of.

We support operations of all shapes and sizes – from estates to market gardens, vineyards to floriculture. Our approach is always tailored, always grounded, and focused on what works in the real world.

We see regenerative agriculture not as a fixed set of tools or practices, but as a way of seeing — a philosophy of working with, rather than against, natural systems.

Over the years, we’ve worked with, supported and/or mentored:

Althorp Estate, Cadenham Farms, Crocadon Farm, Can Purtell, Carclew Barton, Hollycombe Home Farm, House of Hackney Regen, Jamie’s Farm, Louma Winery, Margent Farm, Natoora, Oko Ag, Pasture for Life, Petalon, Plawhatch Farm, The Land Gardeners, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, The Soil Farm, Two Fields Zakros, Westcombe Dairy, Wildfarmed, and many more.

We’re Tim and Claire — partners in work and life, with a shared history in farming and growing.

Earth Farmers grew out of over a decade of hands-on regenerative farming, and a lifetime spent working with soil, plants, animals and people. Between us, we’ve managed market gardens, mixed farms, estates and educational projects — learning, adapting and supporting others as we go.

Claire comes from a design background — first in fashion, now in permaculture. Her eye for pattern, form, and systems thinking shapes everything we do, from garden layouts to community engagement. Tim has spent most of his life on the land, with a deep practical grounding in regenerative and organic systems — informed by postgraduate study and years in the field.

What ties it all together is a shared commitment to systems that regenerate – not just land, but the people and places connected to it.

We’re not consultants in the usual sense. We’re practitioners first — everything we offer is grounded in lived experience. Our work is tailored, collaborative, and responsive to context. We don’t arrive with a fixed plan; we listen, walk the land, and work with you to find the next right step.

This is how we share what we’ve learnt — and how we keep learning, every day.

We offer mentoring, advisory support, and workshops in grazing management, soil health, regenerative systems, and permaculture design.

Our work is offered on a sliding scale of £50–£80 per hour, depending on your context and the nature of the project. We suggest £65/hr as a fair midpoint.

If you’re an unfunded grower or just starting out, let us know – we’re committed to keeping this work accessible to all.

Earth Farmers is a not-for-profit organisation. If you’d like to support our work and help us reach more land-based projects, we’d love to hear from you.
