  • Tomas Mitchell

    Tomas Mitchell was head of compost at Althorp Estate, having established an on-farm facility where byproducts of the agricultural and forestry operations were processed and returned to land to help build fertility, soil structure, and resilience. Tomas is passionate about regenerative agriculture and closed loop systems that replicate nature, improving ecosystems and developing land management independence.

    Tomas is a student at The Soil Food Web Institute working toward consultancy certification, with a strong understanding of soil microbial communities and training in microscopy Tomas is able to produce beneficial biological amendments and make assessments on soil biota function and health.

    Tomas is also a fellow classmate and graduate of the Integrity Soils Create Program, an in-depth education in agroecological systems. Learning skills in soil science, plant physiology, microbiology, livestock management, and mindset and behavioural change, enables Tomas to make educated visual soil and plant assessments, interpret chemical analysis, and gather a holistic understanding of ecological land management.

  • Tim Williams

    Founder, Tim Williams, holds a Degree in Management from New Zealand’s foremost agricultural institute, Lincoln University, complimented with a Postgraduate Certificate in Organic Farming from the SRUC in Scotland.

    His education within regenerative and biological agriculture has developed over the years initially drawing knowledge from Allan Savorys’ Holistic Management Framework before going on to learn from renowned regenerative agriculture thought leaders such as Dr Christine Jones, Darren Doherty, Ian Mitchell-Innes and more recently with Nicole Masters in the first UK Create Program cohort.
